Before the assessment

Before the actual diagnostic assessment for dyslexia / Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), and only after having a brief conversation with you, I shall email you a pre-assessment / screening questionnaire which gives you the opportunity to reflect upon and write about your experience with regard to education and learning strategies.

What you say in your questionnaire will provide important information on possible indicators of dyslexia and other SpLDs. So, it is important that you fill in the questionnaire with as much information as you can. Whatever you say in your questionnaire will be treated as strictly confidential.

Once you have filled in the questionnaire, please email it back to us so that the information you have provided may be analysed. This information will be vital to understand your educational and occupational history, and construct a reliable background picture of your profile of strengths and of the challenges that you are likely to have encountered in the past. Your privacy and any information provided will be treated as strictly confidential, and protected, at all times.
