A diagnostic assessment for dyslexia / Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) involves the undertaking of a series of standardised tests that enable the exploration of an individual’s cognitive abilities and profile.
So, if you ask us to conduct an assessment, working with you through various tasks, we will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses in areas of literacy, verbal fluency, visual-spatial awareness, memory and phonological abilities. Through the diagnostic assessment process, and follow-up conversation, you will have a better understanding of your learning abilities, strengths and overall learning potential.
On some occasions, it is not possible to reach a definite diagnosis of dyslexia / SpLDs; however, in all instances, advice on future action for the development of possible techniques and strategies to maximise your potential will be provided.
